Ants have to be the most annoying insect to ever wander the earth. I hate them particularly in the summertime because when it gets hot inside, they come in. And it's not like they come inside in a trail. No, they come in randomly, so when you walk into the kitchen, there's an ant here or an ant there. How are you supposed to figure out where the hell they're coming from when they are randomly crawling about?? They don't just randomly appear in the kitchen, either. There's a few crawling on the living room wall, on my feet in front of my desk, or around the bathroom sink as I'm brushing my teeth. I think I have gone through a half a bottle of Windex* and a roll of paper towels just killing these damn things. I guess I can be grateful for one thing: at least they are black ants and not the red, biting ones that were around when I grew up.

*Windex works just as well and smells much better than Raid.
